A Letter From The Athletic Director: Whether you are a beginning your first year or second year at South Puget Sound Community College the athletic department staff and coaches are excited to have the privilege of helping you meet your educational and athletic goals. Clipper athletics believes in a “Commitment to Excellence”. Excellence in the classroom leads to meeting your educational goals whether they are to get your Associate of Arts degree and transfer to a four-year college or university, getting your Associate of Technical Arts and moving into the workforce or whatever your educational goal may be. Excellence on the field or court leads to building leadership skills, teamwork, perseverance, discipline and a commitment to your teammates, coaches and yourself. Playing in the Northwest Athletic Association of Community Colleges is exciting and challenging. Each of our sports teams has made a championship or playoff appearance over the years and have always been very competitive. You as student-athletes along with the coaching staff will strive for the “Commitment To Excellence” that has served Clipper Athletics well in the past and will continue to in the future. Hopefully your involvement in Clipper Athletics will extend beyond the court or field. You can have a prominent and positive effect on the campus community and the community at large by representing South Puget Sound Community College’s intercollegiate sports programs well in all that you do. Be sure to take advantage of the other student activities that happen on campus such as the Noon Events, Open Houses, ASB-SPSCC Senate meetings just to name a few. I look forward to an exciting year of Soccer, Basketball and Fastpitch. My door is always open if you have questions, concerns or just want to stop by and chat! Pamela

Director of Athletics
