What are your personal goals for the year?

See below

Why did you get involved with the Student Senate?

I chose to get involved with the Student Senate because I felt there was a real lack of a sense of community on campus, and that a change should take place. We are at South Puget Sound Community College, right? I want to do everything I can to make students feel proud that they belong to our student body, and that they have as many opportunities as possible to improve themselves and their education. I'm here to help you and am open to suggestions, so I hope that you won't hesitate to contact me regarding anything to do with SPSCC.

Do you have a university picked?

I plan to transfer to W.S.U.

Personal Info

My name is John Paul Fairhart, after the late Pope, but only my parents call me that. You can call me J.P. I'm a 2006 graduate of Morton High School where I was ASB President, played varsity football, basketball, and baseball, and was captain of the football and baseball teams. I'm in my second year here at SPSCC and I will graduate with my A.A. in the spring. Upon graduation, I plan to transfer to W.S.U. (GO COUGS!) and major in kinesiology. My ultimate goal is to become a physical therapist, which requires a doctorate degree. In my free time, I like to play basketball, golf, water ski, eat homemade Lebanese food, or do anything that gets me outdoors in the beautiful Pacific Northwest.
