What are your personal goals for the year? My personal goals for the year are to be the best ASB President I can be! I strive for excellence in everything I do and this position is no exception. I am aiming for straight A's in my classes and to have continued success with my job off campus. Underlining these goals is the vision of maintaining balance, humility and to continue to learn and grow. Why did you get involved with the Student Senate? I got involved with Student Senate because I wanted to make a difference and to take advantage of all the learning opportunities I can while at SPSCC. I was a student here 20 years ago and at that time, I was unclear of my goals and dreams and consequently, did very poorly. I was not involved in any way with the school and my grades reflected the lack of involvement. This time around, I feel very connected and I know what I want out of my experience and being able to give back to the campus and the community is very important to me. Do you have a university picked? I will be transferring to St. Martins University Personal Info I am a very passionate, grateful person. I do my best and like everyone
else, sometimes I fall down or make mistakes. What I have learned over the
years is to just pick myself up, shake off the dust, and keep moving
forward. If at the end of each day I can say I did my best, then it was a
great day! When I am not at school, I am probably at Van Dorm Realty where
I am a licensed Real Estate Assistant. I have been there for over 2 years
and really enjoy my job and the people I work with. I am also a Life Coach and teach classes
helping people with everything from goal setting to finding their life purpose. This is my heart's work! Juliann Matson
